Creating a Referral for a Patient's Case

When receiving a referral, whether via email or fax, follow these steps to add it to the system:

  1. Add a New Referral:

    • Click Add New and select Add New Referral.

    • Link the referral to the appropriate case (e.g., "Right Shoulder").

    • Choose the referring physician (use the Getting Started Guide to update the physician list if needed).

    • Add the referral date and relevant diagnosis codes.

    • Upload the referral file.

  2. Verify Referral Details:

    • Locate the patient under Patients, then navigate to their case.

    • Ensure the referral appears under the correct case with all details visible.

Adding a Referring Provider

Follow these steps to add a referring provider to your setup:

  1. Access Admin Setup:

    • Click on the Admin Setup icon in the top-right corner.

    • If you don’t see this icon, contact your administrator for permissions.

  2. Add Provider Details:

    • Select Referring Providers and click Add Provider.

    • Enter the physician's name and NPI (National Provider Identifier).

    • Mark the provider as Active and click Save.

The new provider will now be available in referrals and other relevant sections of the application.
