Clinical Note Changes

We have introduced some new features and improved some existing functionality.

We have changed the layout of the interventions to allow for a user to expand the box. This is helpful when writing longer treatment notes.

You can now add an additional provider to your treatments. Adding an additional provider allows you to add time that another provider assisted in a specific treatment. Only 1 additional provider can be added per note. Adding an additional provider does not give them permission to contribute to the note directly.

You can now transfer a note to any provider. Transferring a note will remove the ability for the current user to edit the note and transfer it to a different provider. This is helpful if a therapist starts writing a note and wants to transfer to a therapy assistant for further documentation.

You can now recall or "take back" a note you have sent to another provider. This is helpful for an assistant therapist to take back ownership of a note if they have sent it prematurely to a therapist or the wrong therapist.

If the insurance is Medicare and the units were conducted by a user who is marked as an assistant, Patient Studio will automatically add the CQ/CO modifier to the charge.
